This portable web browser for Windows allows usage of Flash Player plugin after January 12, 2021.
To install:
- Click here to download, or click the "ZIP" link under "Download Options" on the right sidebar.
- Right-click the downloaded zip file and click "Extract All."
- Open the extracted folder and double-click "Basilisk-Portable" to open Basilisk.
This browser is Basilisk version 2023.01.08, the most recent Windows 32-bit build from https://basilisk-browser.org/ as of 2023-01-18.
It was made portable by copying the files from Pale Moon Portable, modifying the INI file, and renaming files appropriately. The INI file was modified to load the Flash plugin from the Plugins folder included with the program.
A Plugins folder containing Flash Player 32.0.0.363 (NPAPI, Windows 32-bit) was added to the main program folder. The Flash Player was hacked to prevent it from contacting Adobe's servers, meaning that Adobe has no ability to disable this Flash plugin in the future.
Several preferences were set to enable smooth Flash playback in 2021 and beyond.
This preference ensures that Flash cannot be disabled via the browser's add-on blocklist:
extensions.blocklist.enabled = false
These preferences make Flash content play more smoothly:
dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled = false
dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable-protected-mode = true
This preference prevents plugins installed on the system from causing conflicts:
plugin.scan.plid.all = false
Here are some suggested add-ons to improve your browsing experience:
Fix for keyboard controls not working in some Flash games
If you are trying to play a Flash game and the keyboard controls are not working, follow the steps below to fix the problem:
- Open the Command Prompt by right-clicking it and clicking Run as administrator.
- Paste in the following command, then press Enter:
mkdir "%WINDIR%\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash" 2>NUL & echo ProtectedMode = 0 >> "%WINDIR%\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg"
This fix is necessary because on some computers, Flash Player does not obey Basilisk's Protected Mode setting, so it must be set in Flash Player's configuration instead.

Video tutorial
To @alec956 and anyone else having trouble setting up and using my tool: I found a step-by-step video tutorial showing how to set up Basilisk Portable With Flash Player. Here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PDN0zPgrGM
I wasn't involved in the creation of the video, but I think it could still be quite helpful.

No tutorial found, no instruction, no help
I have no rating for this because I can't even figure out how to use it. There are no videos on the matter or written instruction in the files. Does it work on Opera? Does it work on Firefox? I need these questions answered!!

A Very Needed Tool
With Flash Player no longer supported, it had became difficult and next to impossible to access websites in
Archive.org's Wayback Machine. As much time as I spend in the Wayback Machine, I was getting quiet frustrated and annoyed not being able to access saved sites. After spending weeks trying to force Flash Player to work, I came across this web browser. Now, I can access the sites I need to. Thank you so very much.
